1)     U nder guidance of Prof. Chetan Gore. , M. Sc. Part II and TY students developed    a software for “Avishkar foundation working for   Divyang Student” .   Software is used to enter details of students, marks entry for exams taken at various stages.   2).   Mr. P.D. Londhe developed a software for Divyang students for a ‘Sneh Jyoti          Institute, Dapoli.’ Software used to read audio as Divyang student clicks on the specific area on software.

40 Students participated in Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan(Cleanliness drive ) on 20,21 and 22 nd July 2018 at in Shirgaon village, Ratnagiri.

Successive Seventh years of In-house software Competition “ PHOENIX 2018 ” Department organized the “Phoenix” software competition for the UG and PG students. The five projects from each class were selected for  final round. The final round was conducted on 29 th  August 2018 at Radhabai Shetye Hall. For the final round Mr. Shreyas Ranade(IOS Developer in  Bitware Technologies Pvt. Ltd.,Pune ) was the judge. Department published the sixth issue of in-house research journal "Phoenix".  Prof. V.V.Bhide(V. P. Mr. Adity Khirsagar  from SYBSc got first prize and Miss. Prachi Teli from SYBSc got second prize in the College level power point presentation competition on Astronomy held at Physics Department ,Gogate Jogalekar College .

Prof. P. D. Londhe and Prof. A. S. Sahasrabuddhe worked as resource person at National level Seminar on ‘Data Mining’ at Rosary College, Goa on 4th August 2018.

Four M.Sc. students are doing internship at Gadre infotech Pvt. Ltd. From 11-02-2019. Four M.Sc. students are doing internship at Navnath Infotech Pvt. Ltd. From 11-02- 2019.

Department had organized 2 weeks bridge course on Basic Computer System for F.Y.BSc students 09-07-18 to 21-07-18.             No. of Participant: 35

A innovative activity done by our S.Y.B.Sc Computer Science Student. Department gives computer training for physically handicap student Hanjela Javed Qadri (M.A. Hindi) .Training includes basic computer handling, different computer applications, and   computer hardware information.

Miss. Aliya Zapadekar from sybsc Comp. Sci. got third prize in the power point presentation competition held at IT Department, Gogate Jogalekar College. Also Mr. Bhupesh Lad from fybsc Comp. Sci. got third prize in code   writing competition.

Department of Computer Science organized workshop on Educational Guidance in Computer Science Subject on 16/01/2018. She had given guidance to T.Y.CS and T.Y.IT students. The resource person for the workshop is Mrs. Rashmi Pote. Mrs. Rashmi Pote is former chairperson of theory and practical exam. She is also syllabus committee member of Computer Science Subject.
