 The department organised VIDYA SAMITEE meeting for discussing the  preplanning of NAAC and the related issues on 20 August 2017 . The meeting was held in the presence of all faculty members of computer science  department under the guidance of Mrs. Anuja Gharpure. The main focus was on revised NAAC framework.        Computer science department and NSS department came up with an Interdesplinary program of organizing lecture on " USE OF INTERNET IN ROUTINE LIFE ".                    The  students for the program were from first and second year Arts and Commerce faculty . Mr. Amol Sahasrabuddhe from computer science department were the resource person for the program . The program was conducted on 9 August 2017 in computer science department laboratory. 75 students were 60 participated in the programme. Here are some snapshots of the program

Our bright Alumini Mr. Kaustubh Bhagwat who is currently working in Srijan Technologies , Goa as a Drupal Developer had an interactive session with department students on 26 July 2017.            During this interaction session he shared  his experience as being a student and as a software developer as well. Department of computer science arranged the parents meeting of FY B.Sc. students to discuss about their curriculum. Date : 22/07/2017 Place:G J College, Ratnagiri Timing: 11.30 am to 2.00 pm                                      

Department of Computer Science came up with an innovative idea of conducting a session on project development and guidance  "Pioneering Projects Insight"  preferably headed by M.Sc. part second students on  SY and TY Computer Science students. The only motive behind organising such a small session is to monitor the current status of students project along with guidance. The same was successfully conducted on 22 July 2017 in the department itself. Mr. Atharv Devstali and Mr. Geo Mariyan was the resource person for TY and Mr. Shrinivas Joshi and Mr. Chetan Gore for SY. Here are some relevant pictures .....

Department of Computer Science organised  workshop on Android Development on 08/07/2017 at Department Laboratory. The Resource person for the same is   Mr. Firzan Gulam.  Mr.Firzan Gulam is our bright  alumni and who worked as a  Professional Android developer, in ASCRA Technologies ,Mumbai. ·         LECTURE SERIES ON CASHLESS SOCIETY A .S.SAHARSABUDDHE Conducted  various lectures on cashless transaction which includes use of UPI apps, BHIM app, NET banking etc in the firms like DIET , B.ED college , D.Ed. college, UCPL and various hostels in Ratnagiri.

·         “Internet Of Things (IOT)”  WORKSHOP UNDER MOU WITH ROSARY COLLEGE ,MADAGAV ,GOA Four students from MSc and faculty of department participated in IOT Workshop under MOU with Rosary College ,Madgaon ,Goa.

·          NASSCOM  WORKSHOP ON “PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND FELICITATION OF B.SC TOPPERS “ Dewang Mehta Foundation Trust (DMFT), NASSCOM. and R.P.
